A Turbo Thinker's© Journey: From Overwhelm to Empowerment

Paths to fulfillment

Like many of you, I was once a high achiever caught in the whirlwind of endless responsibilities. I had a full-time career, a family, social obligations, volunteered for everything, managed my health, and exercised regularly. I was the person who got things done. I lived in the right neighborhood, had the right car in the garage, and my kids were enrolled in the right school. I was doing all of the "right" things.

But why was I so miserable? Why was I so stressed to the point that I developed cancer?

I thought sacrificing my happiness was both good and noble. I put everyone else's needs before my own, believing this was the path to fulfillment. Sound familiar?

It wasn't until my son was diagnosed with ADHD that I realized something had to change. In my determination to help him, I discovered that to truly make a difference, I needed to help myself first.

That's when I found coaching. My first coach, the late Carol Gignoux, reached through the phone and, with her words alone, shook me awake to my own self-worth. She helped me see that I wasn't just capable, but more than good enough. I was worth more than my current status.

Through coaching, I gained clarity on my core values and purpose. I defined my vision and confidently embraced how my brain worked best. I learned to communicate and advocate for my own needs, finally experiencing the calm, consistency, and contentment I'd been seeking.

This transformative journey inspired me to become an executive coach specializing in Turbo Thinkers©. But I knew my personal experience alone wasn't enough. I pursued rigorous professional training, obtained my PAAC credential, and continued to educate myself and receive coaching. Because the best coaches understand the value of ongoing growth and support.

Now, I help others who are where I once was — overwhelmed, stressed, and unsure why. I guide them to think about their thinking, to understand how their minds work so they can feel calm, confident, and able to execute their ideas.
