The 2021 International Conference on ADHD

I am so stoked about the conference next week. I am even more stoked to be presenting with some of my favorite ADHD coaches on the planet. Here’s a sneak preview of our session:

Sat Nov 06, 3:15 PM - 4:30 PM EDT   (1 Hour, 15 Min)

SD02- Sailing Solopreneurship with ADHD

In this interactive presentation, participants will learn how four solopreneurs with ADHD have started and grown their businesses in their ideal field. They also discuss how embracing the adversity of the pandemic helped all of them thrive. The panel will share their unique stories through an ADHD lens while advising on a variety of business building tools, techniques, and strategies they have used.

  • Understanding the difference between magical thinking and taking risks is key to successful solopreneurship.

  • Having a coach helps, but it doesn’t need to be a business coach.

  • You get to decide the best environment for your work.

  • You get to decide what success means to you.

  • You get to design your own schedule.

  • Knowing what to delegate and to whom is a skill for successful solopreneurship.

  • There is value in bouncing ideas, asking questions and sharing emotions with others in your field.

  • The ability to take risks is an ADHD trait that helps solopreneurs.

  • The ADHD traits of creativity and problem solving helps solopreneurs pivot in times of crisis.

  • Knowing and understanding one's own strengths can be one of the biggest supports for solopreneurs.

  • When times get tough, referring back to your values, purpose and vision can guide you.

  • By trusting that each individual has unique strengths, we can get past seeing colleagues as competitors.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
