Change Is The Only Constant
We, Turbo Thinkers, have a love / hate relationship with change. On the one hand, we love it! It’s something new! It’s bright and shiny! It gives me hits of dopamine! Yay! Give me anything to break the boredom! Let’s shake things up a bit! Woohoo!
On the other hand, we hate it. I spent so much time coming up with the perfect plan/ system/ recipe and now it’s going to get all messed up and be a total failure. I put in so much time and effort and had to mentally and emotionally ramp myself up for this and now it’s all going to be different. How am I ever supposed to get this right if the parts keep moving? It’s just not fair.
Change is the only constant. It is a sign of life. How can we embrace change and enjoy life at the same time? Let’s go back and review what skills we DO have. What strengths can we call upon in times of change? For starters, we Turbo Thinkers most notably rise to the challenge in crisis mode. When the deadline is nigh or the emergency arises, who springs into action with courage and hyperfocus? The Turbo Thinker. We are creative problem-solvers and come up with innovative solutions.
We have the ability to see situations from different perspectives and we can connect the dots in unconventional ways. We can find humor in the mundane yet possess extraordinary compassion. Once we move past our fears and limiting beliefs, we can tap into our strong sense of intuition and allow it to guide us. We can step into our highest self and ride the wave of change with confidence. We’ve got this, Turbo Thinkers! We already have all that it takes, right in our back pockets.
