Living Your Authentic Life

Today someone asked me my opinion of group coaching, and I faltered, not knowing where to begin. I ended up simply gushing, “I love it!” I love the synergy, the transformation, the progress, the A-ha moments, the switch from shame to confidence.

My groups fill me with awe, inspire me with their creativity, but mostly with their courage. Every single participant in my Turbo Think Tank understands that vulnerability is necessary for growth. In our safe space, they can be open to get past any embarrassment, dedicated to getting past the years of stigma. They know that in order to be seen, they need to show up. In order to be heard, they need to speak up. They value sharing for support, and for learning about themselves and others.

With a growth mindset, they believe in “the power of yet.” They learn to see mistakes as gathering data and getting stronger. They see adversity as a sign that there is a better way. In our community, they don’t have to struggle alone. Together we can get past perfectionism and celebrate progress. They are some of the bravest humans on this planet. Bravo!
