ADHD Awareness Month Wants to Hear from YOU

This month, I allow myself to go down the rabbit hole of this website: https://www.adhdawarenessmonth.org/

As a board member of ACO, I know the monumental effort that has gone into curating the material within. This has been a worldwide task with coalitions in various continents to educate the public about ADHD by disseminating reliable information based on the evidence of science and peer-reviewed research. ADHD is a serious public health issue on a global scale.

The best way to change people’s views about ADHD is to let them know that it’s not about somebody else, it’s about someone they know! One of my favorite sections is the page dedicated to self expression through art, stories and humor. Turbo Thinkers never cease to astound me with their creativity and this page proves it. Best of all, you can add to it too! The ACO coalition is looking forward to more submissions from the public with ADHD stories, art, memes and videos. Approved submissions received by October 28, 2022 will be entered into a random drawing for prizes!

How have you succeeded as a Turbo Thinker? Take a moment to speak your truth and let your light shine!
