5 Strengths of Turbo Thinkers© and Why They Are Strengths

Many of my clients share Turbo Thinker superpowers. These are strengths that tend to exist in greater quantity, frequency or higher intensity than many neurotypical brains. My clients tend to be:

Innovative
They are natural problem solvers. Whereas some people can accept things the way they are, Turbo Thinkers can get frustrated with something and figure out a better, easier way to achieve it. I’ll go out on a limb and say that most of the major inventions by mankind were created and built by Turbo Thinkers.

Spontaneous
They are fun and willing to take risks. Turbo thinkers can be amusing and entertaining because you never know what to expect. They can bravely jump into and pursue an idea or action without fear. They thrive in emergency situations. They are willing to put themselves at risk in pursuit of their goals, which is the heart of the entrepreneurial spirit.

Empathetic
They possess a strong intuition, which can lead to compassion and generosity. Many Turbo Thinkers are in tune with their feelings and the feelings of those around them. They can feel more intensely and tap into the emotions of their environment. Feeling another person’s pain can compel them to help and support others in need.

Hyperfocus
They are persistent and determined in the pursuit of their goals. When Turbo Thinkers get “in the zone” they lose all sense of time, and even their own physical needs. They will work deaf, dumb and blind to the outside world. They are 100% immersed in their activity until they feel that it is just right. They can most definitely pay attention to their unique interests.

Imaginative
They see possibilities and can connect the dots in unexpected ways. Turbo Thinkers come up with the most original ideas! Their imaginations know no bounds. They have the ability to see patterns and make connections that are not evident to most people. They can create a whole new world inside their brains, which can then expand our current reality.

Could you imagine a world without Turbo Thinkers? How boring. How uncivilized. How dispassionate. How sad.
